Ahmed is an attorney of the High Court of South Africa having represented clients at Magistrate, High Court, Labour Court and Arbitration proceedings. Prior to establishing this practice he worked for a human resources consultancy specialising in Employment Equity and has advised various organisations
on the legal and practical implications of the Employment Equity Act. He has undergone extensive training in labour arbitration and is an accredited mediator. He has a master’s degree with a focus on discrimination and sits as a panellist on various councils as well as being a part-time commissioner at the CCMA.
Ahmed is also accredited by the POLSEC SETA as a trainer in respect of legal education.
Ahmed is further a Commercial Mediator from the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution. He has also conducted fact filing investigations and also facilitated various wage negotiations.
